The Number 1,000,000,000
In English this number is a billion. This is very tricky for nations where 'a billion' has 12 zeros. 1,000,000,000,000 in English, however, is atrillion.
But don't worry, these numbers are even a bit problematic for native speakers: for a long time the British 'billion' had 12 zeros (a number with 9 zeros was called 'a thousand million'). Now, however, also in British English 'a billion' has 9 zeros. But from time to time this number still causes confusion (just like this paragraph, I'm afraid). ;o)
Singular or Plural?
Numbers are usually written in singular.
two hundred Euros
several thousand light years
The plural is only used with dozen, hundred, thousand, million, billion, if they are not modified by another number or expression (e.g. a few / several).
hundreds of Euros
thousands of light years

ORDER IN ADJECTIVES
1
Cuando se trata de adjetivar uno o varios sustantivos, hay cierto orden a seguir como se muestra en la imagen numero 2.
Es importante reconocer que en Inglès siempre se adjetiva primero y se sustantiva posteriormente, de ahi que se piense que el Inglès està escrito o diseñado a revès.
por ejemplo:
- a round table
- two leather jackets
- a bunch of marvelous gifts
- an incledible outfit
Los ejemplos anteriores denotan en la palabra subrayada , el adjetivo que està calificando al sustantivo ( palabra en negrita).
Muy sencillo cuando solo hay un adjetivo que califique al ò los sustantivos, en el caso de adjetivar con mas elementos, se procede al seguimiento marcado en la imagen 2.
- * tamaño(1) + edad(2) + color(3) + nacionalidad o procedencia(4) + material(5) + 📦
*No olvidemos aplicar las reglas bàsicas para singular (uso de A/AN) o para plural (correcta pluralizaciòn del sustantivo o adjetivos de cantidad)
1.- TAMAÑO: big, small, short, tiny.
2.- EDAD: new, old, antique, renewed.
3.- COLOR: black, gray, yellow, beige.
4.- NACIONALIDAD O PROCEDENCIA: american, chinese, taiwanese, vitnamese.
5.- MATERIAL: leather, fur, plastic, paper.
Entonces nos arroja un resultado con uso de mas de un adjetivo de la siguiente manera:
- Some small antique black egipcian wooded beetles are in the National Museum of Natural History
